I'm not syaing sex is only a necessity, but sex has always been about because it's needed. Smoking came about because peopel created it. I don't know how that falls into topic, but yea. You've just contradicted yourself. I stated that having sex for fun is NOT nessesary and is done for fun and the reason people do it is for feeling. You know what birth control is right? Well guess what...people created birth control too. These two things where created by us...so how dosn't this fall into the topic. Just because it's something everyone can relate to it obviously shouldn't be a point? An

hmm, you know I don't actualy have anything to say to that, so no comment man, but how about getting back to weed rather than sex, not syaing I don't enjoy the topic of course.

Well you guys should be glad that I'm not ahead of the government because I would say that all drugs including smoking would be illegal. Still Beer and wine though.

you make everything illegal and the crime bosses will sell a half rate version of it at twice the price! You realize that organized crime doesn't count on a nation's GDP? Our economy would practically collapse! There's so many smokers!
What's interesting to note though is that cigarettes WILL soon be banned, because the health care costs are going to outweigh the profit they get off of taxing it.

I agree with Eyesore, banning it is near impossible at this state. It's far to widespread and used at this point. We'll be lucky if the Cigg ban is even enforced. I'm all for it actually, I don't have a problem with smokers as long as what they are doing is not effecting anyone else. I think the same thing should be allowed with MJ.
In truth my personal beliefs are no drug should be out lawed or anythign shoudln't be outlawed as long as it does not disturb the people around. Such as prostitution, it's their body I fail to rekonise how the government should be allowed to tell them how they should be allowed to use their body. If I want to screw up my body, then I should be allowed...if I wanna do a sheet of Acid I should be allowed. Perhaps yes...I'd be brain dead afterwords though what right should the goverment have on me saying what I can't and can't do.
Though I see the point of banning drugs like Meth that make you go insane and act in ways that usually make go bother someone else.

I agree that the government shouldn't have that right to tell us how to treat our own bodies, so long as what we're doing isn't potentially harmful to anyone else (ie, marijuana/driving, drinking/driving)

Well I hope your right, Eyesore about cigarettes getting banned soon. It should have been in the 1930's when they actually discovered it was bad for our health...

Funny thing, they actually tried that with alcahol in the 1930s. Though people liked alcahol to much just like they liked ciggerets to much. Though the only reason they banned alcahol and not smoking because drinking gets you impared. The government....or the general public didn't like the idea of that. It was so called socialy unacceptable...untill so many people did it...that well it became acceptable. It wasn't even so much the majority as the possible profit that made them change it anyways. I believe the same will happen with MJ, as we are really starting to move in the same direction as we did with alcahol. You can see it happening slowly...the green party is trying to legalize it. 20 years ago if the green party had been there they would of been excluded from the political world.
I now believe legalizing MJ is perfect now esspecially with the new law that will now ban all smoking in public...which was my main concern if it where legalized. People who would have to serve or be with someone who smoked MJ all day might get high too...even if they didn't want too.
