What program do you guys use to edit the charsets? Whenever I import a modified charset, they keep the green background. How do I get rid of that? Thanks. I'm back at it again flying my own flag. Since last I was here, I have been involved in two game projects, the "fieldview" one went up in smoke (or at least it did for me) because I couldn't get along with the director. Right now, I'm working with an RPG creator, that has a demo due out in a few weeks. I'll post a link if anyone's interested closer to date. Basically, I'm tired of making music for other people's ideas, because, as the conceded artist that I am, their ideas suck. ;D Right now I'm working on the intro section to my own game, "Manastazi Island" which is based around the classic feel of a 2d rpg, using the 2k maker. Great to see you guys are still alive, take it easy.

I use Idraw 3.32 it's a great rm making graphic editor and worth learning, doesn't take that long. As for the green bacgroun that means the green isn't the transparent color used for a graphic so load up the png image in idraw and goto palette and replace the color that you see with the one in the top left of the palette because that color in rm2k will be transparent. It's not the same color, but it's always the one in the top left of the palette.

Thank you! Edit: I've finished with the first section of MI, and was wondering if people are interested. If that's the case, I'll send it in to be tested. Game play isn't long at this point, it's the first scene of the game that will be sent, and will appear before the opening credits and some sort of cinimatic I hope to put together...somehow...anyway, Chow.
