Ok I'm just setting up debates for however wants to participate, I'll be like the moderator just spitting out a bunch of topics. A world-wide used currency with no exchange rates and everything costing the same world wide. WOuld it be usefull? Would it benefit society? Good or Bad? Back up your points.

Look it would be nice to have that. Though umm...it's impossible. If we were to do that we would need to MERGE the world ecconemy, which nobody would agree too.

Look at the Euro it's taken over most of Europe and is the leading currency, more and more countries are giving into it and following suit they say it'll soon be used accross Asia too.

Yup, and the Euro had no need to merge economy. If we did have a universal currency, then why not keep our old currency as well, just like europe.

Universal currency is for when the world is one country. The world is not one country, so we dont have one currency. When i take over the world, every worthless currency will go...course, you could just make all sorts of coins worth different stuff, like half-dollars....and other numbers of dollars.

if I took over the world I would just rearrange all the currencies. the UK could have yin and China could prosper from the pound! HA HA HA HA!!!

Course, soon as china Profits by the pound, They'll gain a pound... The pound that is Taiwan, and probably some of Indochina.

The thing about currency is that it allows for a good indicator of economic strength. Also I can't even imagine what the cons/pros would be in either case, all I know is that the Canadian dollar is gaining on the American dollar which is good enough for me.
