Stop picking on farmers, because they're cool they have to deal with shit all day. If it's so bad then why would you read 34 books, each book has what 100 comics, that's a lot of garfield to be reading, there's like 300 books by the way, and too many comics to count. It's not intended for people 15 yrs of age by the way, I don't read Garfield anymore, but I hold it in high respect because at the age that I did read it often, it was really funny, and if I read it now it's still pretty funny, but it's not the humor that one our age is introduced to, so we're not used to it, ths you wouldn't be as interested in it now as you would have been several years ago, like 9-12 maybe.

Wow Ethan, you still astound me. "ITS NOT FOR 15 YEARS OLDS THEIRFORE ITS GOOD LOL"
So, Sesame street (or whatever shitty shows you watched) should be exalted because you found it funny when you were five?
I wasn't interested in Garfield when I was 9. However, I did read it in grade two (7 years old), all the books, and found them mildly amusing. Right now, I don't know what I found funny. I'm guessing I forced myself to laugh, just like you're doing.
Oh, and if it can't be good in the first THIRTY FOUR issues, then it's not worthy of being referred to as "funny". I mean, if a band's first 34 albums were total shit, would you have any respect for them? I certainly wouldn't; I mean, they just made a bunch of shitty albums and only NOW they'd be potentially good? No, sorry, you missed the boat. Game Over. User wins.

We're not debating whether seasame street's good or not, that show used to be somewhat amusing, but now it's shitty park stuff and not, bert, ernie, or cookie monster(those bastards) My point was that garfield was not intended t have it's humor aimed at older age groups like ourselves, because we've heard all of the jokes a million times they get annoying, but at the first introduction of this humor you find it funny, because it's new to you, so if you read them at 7, then that was when it would be funny, but not if you re-read them constantly, because unlike books you won't find out something you missed, you get it the first time you see it, which is also why there were so many issues because it had to be new, so as not to keep the exact same thing which would dull even the youngest most immature infant's mind and already un-eventful life.

After all Ethan, all humour that was good when you were five and is aimed at five year olds deserves praise, right?

Yes, eyesore, yes it does. Praise is all we can give, since our state of mind changes as we grow older and experiences that amused us as infants merely annoy us as teens.

No, the garfield movie is a horrible mockery from what I hear, btu Eyesore, you just said that garfield was good for a younger generation, are you admiting that it's not just a horrible piece of over-used and unoriginal crap that was concieved of by an over-egotistic author and his useless attempts at some sort of humor that was a pathetic attempt to amuse the minds of the public so he could gain his fortune and continue writing even more pieces of useless crap. And yes, Family Guy kicks ass, I would choose it NOW over Garfield, but it's a shame they stopped releasing them. Stupid money-crazing wannabe voice actors!
