Hmm... North Korea has tons of weapons, hates the US, and wants to make them explode, Chances are, taking the rest of North America with them. Course, North Korea would lose the war, but they'd demolish the US in the process. So...sure, the US can invade North Korea, as soon as I'M OFF THE CONTINENT!

Any invasion of any nation is a belligerent act, N. Korea is a legitimate nation state with rights to determine its won affairs, the fact that may have Nuclear weapons changes nothing. China has 3000-4000 Atomic Warheads with about 90 ICBM's capable of reaching Ottowa or Washington DC, Moscow etc and there are no serious discussions to invade them.
So if we don't invade China why should we invade N. Korea?
Also such an invasion can never happen for as long as China knows that keeping N. Korea their faithful pets will protect their Manchurian borders.

The reason nobody want's to invade china, is because nobody wants all the cheap labour rebeling. Make companies loss profit and all...which means the US would get angry...and nobody wants that. It would mean having to listen to Bush speeches every day on why he thinks he's doing the right thing.
