I'm currently working on the programming for my game's first boss fight, and am wondering what you guys think is a good floor size? The hero will need room to run from spells, and such, of course..
Other than that. Melee attacks are easy to program, for the boss, of course.. Spells aren't the hardest, either, but how would I add in a hit/miss chance? (And the ability to dodge.)
The battle would be in real time, of course.

I'm curious how big the boss is, because 20x15 is always good for a close in fight scene and it keeps the player moving.

The boss is roughly the size of a player sprite, so I'll stick with that then. ^^;
