No, you didn't burst my bubble. How many other times has it happened? Yeah. I've seen 16 player tournaments, but that requires a lot of organization which doesn't pan out that often. Hell, I have trouble getting 8 people together in a week for a game of ultimate frisbee; 16 people must be a nightmare. It has to be planned weeks in advance. At any rate, if I want to play a multiplayer game, I'm content with Super Smash Brothers: Melee. Man that game is a gem. I will kick any of your asses as Marth; hell, I'll do random and cream you all. Evertime we've tried to do one it has succeded. Then again we don't do it that often...it is agreeded it is quite a bit of work...though getting a 16 player game on the other hand is quite easy. With the help of X-Box live you gave have tons of 16 player games with whoever you want...from anywhwere.

Well, yeah, X-Box live is great for that. But, if I want to play a multiplayer shooter online, it's all about Quake 3.

On X-Box I would have to say it's Halo 2. I mean, Quake is great and all, but I mean have you ever played like a good Halo 2 multiplayer game with a bunch of friends?

I'm not a big fan of Halo 2; I've played 4 player and I didn't like it. 16 player sounds much better, but I didn't really dig the gameplay. I LOVE Quake 3's gameplay, and it's way easier (for me at least) to organize multiplayer matches.

By the sounds of it the only reason you like Quake better is because you play quake with more then 4 players, I take it. 4 players on Halo 2...isn't boring but it isn't at it's peek if you know what I mean. Play a 16 player or even 12 player game and you'll see it's more then a compition for quake.
Or who knows maybe you just like Quake better, but if you get a chance man be sure to try out a 16 player game. It is insane.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind playing Halo 2 on 16 player; I mean, 16 people in one room playing the same game... that's an awesome idea. But, I enjoy Quake's engine way more. There's nothing more satisfying than doing a backflip over some chump then nailing them in between the eyes with a rail gun.

I would have to agree! ;D Though in capture the flag once, my friend Pete had the flag, and was standing there facing a guy with a rocket launcher. He waited till the guy shot the rocket jumped over the rocket and smaked the guy in the face with the flag as he was coming down. It was in fact one of the most butiful things I have ever seen in my life/

What can I say, it was a kodak moment...or at least a moment to be caught on some sort of film.
